LOTTO 6/49 & LOTTO Plus

What is LOTTO?

LOTTO is a game of chance where the player should select six (6) numbers from a field of 49 numbers. If these six (6) numbers match the six drawn numbers of the LOTTO draw, the player wins the first category prize.

What is LOTTO Plus?

LOTTO Plus is an extension of the LOTTO On-Line Game in which selections made for a LOTTO Draw are wagered for an additional corresponding LOTTO Plus Draw. In other words, it gives a second chance to win in the LOTTO Game at an additional cost. LOTTO Plus can only be played when playing LOTTO and the Game Boards entered for LOTTO Plus must be the same as the LOTTO Boards played.

How to play LOTTO

1. Each LOTTO Game Board costs R3.50 inclusive of VAT.
2. Except in the case of an entry by subscription, a Valid Winning Ticket shall be the only valid basis for claiming a prize.
3. On any one LOTTO Entry Coupon a Player may play a minimum of one Game Board.
4. A Player must manually mark in black or blue pen or pencil six (6) numbers from the numbers 1 to 49 inclusive on each of one or more Game Boards.
5. Where the Player uses the Multi-Draw facility he/she will mark his/her Selection (s) on the appropriate Boards on the LOTTO Entry Coupon and mark the appropriate box on the LOTTO Entry Coupon to determine the number of LOTTO Draws for which his/her Selection (s) are to be entered.
6. For the purposes of selecting the "Number of Draws" for the Multi- Draw, a Player must mark the "Number of Draws" boxes on the LOTTO Entry Coupon. The period covered by the selected Multi - Draw shall commence on the first Saturday or Wednesday subsequent to the date on which aPlayer made his/her selection. This period shall
   end when the number of Draws selected and indicated on a Ticket are conducted.
7. The cost of a Multi-Draw Ticket will be the total cost of the Game Boards selected multiplied by the number of Draws the Player has chosen to enter.
8. The completed LOTTO Entry Coupon with the appropriate amount due shall then be submitted to the Retailer who will process the completed LOTTO Entry Coupon through the Terminal. A Ticket recording each selection marked on the coupon will be issued to the Player.
9. The Retailer shall process LOTTO Entry Coupons through the Terminal, and Tickets will be issued only through the Terminal.

10. If the Terminal rejects the LOTTO Entry Coupon, the entry is not valid.

Quick Pick Option

1. A Ticket that contains numbers randomly generated by the Terminal may also be purchased. This is called a QuickPick Ticket. The Player must request such a Ticket from the Retailer. QuickPick Tickets are available for R5, R10, R20 or R50 to provide the Player with 2, 4, 8 or 20 board/game selections respectively.

2. QuickPick Tickets are also available for Multiple Draws. The Player must request the number of Draws ranging from 2 to 10 only. Cancellation of a Game Board If players want to cancel one of the game boards of the coupon they have filled, they only have to mark the CANCEL box of the relevant playing field.

How to play LOTTO Plus

1. LOTTO Plus offers Players an option to enter their LOTTO Game Board selections for a corresponding LOTTO Plus Draw at an additional cost.
2. LOTTO Plus can only be played when playing LOTTO and the Game Boards entered for LOTTO Plusmust be the same as the LOTTO Boards played.
3. Each LOTTO Plus entry costs R1.50 (one Rand), inclusive of VAT.
4. Players may play the LOTTO Plus Game by marking the LOTTO Plus box at the top of a LOTTO Entry Coupon. Provided that on the Entry Coupon the Player also enters at least one selection (one board) into the corresponding LOTTO Draw.
5. LOTTO Plus is available using both the Entry Coupon and QuickPick methods of number selection.
6. If a Player wants to play LOTTO Plus through the Quick Pick method of selection, he/she must indicate the inclusion of the LOTTO Plus option when buying a QuickPick Ticket from a Retailer.
7. LOTTO Plus selections can also be entered for Multiple Draws, provided that the same Game Board selections are entered for corresponding LOTTO Multi- Draws.
8. The cost of entering Board Selections for the LOTTO Plus Draws will be the total cost of the Game Boards selected, multiplied by the number of Draws the Player has chosen to enter. This cost is additional to the cost of LOTTO entries.

9. If the Terminal rejects the LOTTO Entry Coupon, the LOTTO Plus entry is not valid.

LOTTO & LOTTO Plus Draws

Players can play LOTTO & LOTTO Plus every day. A public draw, that determines the winning numbers for both games, is conducted twice per week every Wednesday and Saturday.

In both LOTTO & LOTTO Plus draws seven (7) numbers are drawn at random from a Drawing Machine containing forty nine (49) balls numbered 1 to 49.

The first six (6) numbers drawn are the Main Numbers and the seventh number drawn is the Bonus Number.

The Draw is broadcasted live on TV. The LOTTO and LOTTO Plus Game sales are closed approximately 30minutes before the Draw on Wednesday and Saturday evenings. Ticket sales and prize payments will not commence after the Draw until the next morning.

1. If in any Draw, there are no Selections qualifying for a prize in the Match Six category the prize monies for this category will be added to the Match Six prize fund for the next Draw.

2. On the fifth consecutive Draw in which there is no Winning Match Six Selection, then the entire prize pool for the Match Six category will be added to the Match Five plus Bonus Number prize fund for that fifth Draw.

LOTTO Plus

1. A non-winning LOTTO Plus Jackpot shall not be rolled over to the next Draw.

2. If in any Draw, there is no winner in any of the prize categories, the prize pool for the particular category will be evenly distributed among all other Winning Divisions, except Division Seven.

9. Die kleinhandelaar sal 'n LOTTO-inskrywingskoepon deur die terminaal verwerk, en kaartjies sal slegs deur die terminaal uitgereik word.

10. Indien die terminaal die LOTTO-inskrywingskoepon verwerp, is die inskrywing nie geldig nie.

Quick Pick

1. 'n Kaartjie wat nommers bevat wat ewekansig deur die terminaal gegenereer word, kan ook gekoop word. Dit word 'n QuickPick-kaartjie genoem. Die speler moet die kleinhandelaar versoek om so 'n kaartjie uit te reik. QuickPickkaartjies is beskikbaar vir R5, R10, R20 of R50 om aan die speler 2, 4, 8 of 20 ry-/spelkeuses onderskeidelik te voorsien.

You must be 18 years of age or older to buy Lottery tickets and claim prizes.

You are responsible for checking your entries before leaving the Retailer location or confirming the PowerBall® entry on an Automated Teller Machine or the internet.

A ticket is void if stolen, unissued, mutilated, illegible, tampered with or altered in any way, defective or incomplete.

The National Lottery is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets.

You must fill in your name, address and phone number on the back of your winning ticket before you file a prize claim.

All winning tickets are subject to validation by the National Lottery.

All winning tickets are bearer instruments.

All prizes must be claimed within one year from the date of the draw.

What is PowerBall®

PowerBall® is a game of chance where the player should select, in a single play (one Board), five numbers and the PowerBall number that match the numbers and the PowerBall number drawn for the game in which the Player is participating.

Where do I buy a PowerBall® entry

PowerBall® entries may be purchased -

• from a authorised Retailer using a PowerBall®  Entry Coupon or utilising the QUICKPICK®  functionality,
• from a participating cash register or automated teller machine or other similar device following the playing instructions associated with that device,
• from an authorised Mail Subscription agent, and

How much does it cost

Each PowerBall® Game Board costs R3.50 inclusive of VAT.

How do I win

The PowerBall® game draw machines contain 45 and 20 numbered balls respectively. In each Draw, five balls will be drawn by a draw machine containing forty-five balls numbered from 1 to 45 inclusive and one ball will be drawn by a separate draw machine containing twenty balls numbered 1 to 20 inclusive.  The first five (5) numbers drawn out of 45, are the Main Numbers. The first number drawn out of 20, is the PowerBall Number.

If you match the five numbers and the PowerBall number drawn you win the Jackpot ("MATCH FIVE + ONE"). The other winning categories are as follows:

• Prize Division Eight and the lowest prize category means that the Player has correctly matched one of the selected five Main Numbers and the PowerBall number. The appropriate prize category is called MATCH ONE OF FORTY-FIVE AND ONE OF TWENTY NUMBERS ("MATCH ONE + ONE").
• Prize Division Seven means that the Player has correctly matched two of the selected five Main Numbers and the PowerBall number.  The appropriate prize category is called MATCH TWO OF FORTY-FIVE AND ONE OF TWENTY NUMBERS ("MATCH TWO + ONE").
• Prize Division Six means that the Player has correctly matched three of the selected five Main Numbers.  The appropriate prize category is called MATCH THREE OF FORTY-FIVE ("MATCH THREE").
• Prize Division Five means that the Player has correctly matched three of the selected five Main Numbers and the PowerBall number. The appropriate prize category is called MATCH THREE OF FORTY-FIVE AND ONE OF TWENTY NUMBERS ("MATCH THREE + ONE").
• Prize Division Four means that the Player has correctly matched four of the selected five Main Numbers.  The appropriate prize category is called MATCH FOUR OF FORTY-FIVE ("MATCH FOUR").

• Prize Division Two means that the Player has correctly matched all five of the selected five Main Numbers. The appropriate prize category is called MATCH FIVE OF FORTY-FIVE ("MATCH FIVE").

When can I play

PowerBall® Entries are available for sale between 06:00 and 23:00 on non-draw days except Sundays. On Sundays, tickets may be purchased between 06:00 and 18:00. Retailers' trading hours and the terms and conditions of alternate sales channels may limit these sales hours.

But remember: PowerBall® ticket sales close at 21:00 on Tuesdays and Fridays unless the terms and conditions of any approved method of sale specify a time earlier. Sales will thereafter only commence the next morning.

How to play PowerBall® on a National Lottery terminal
Entry Coupon

On any one PowerBall® Entry Coupon a Player may play a minimum of one Game Board.

You must manually mark in black or blue pen or pencil five (5) numbers from the numbers 1 to 45 and one (1) from the numbers 1 to 20 on each of one or more Game Boards. Submit the completed PowerBall® Entry Coupon with the appropriate amount due to the Retailer who will process the completed PowerBall® Entry Coupon through the Terminal. A Ticket recording each selection marked on the coupon will be issued to you. If the Terminal rejects the PowerBall®Entry Coupon, the entry is not valid.

Multi-draws

You can also enter your selection/s for successive Draws between 2 and 10. When you opt for the Multi-Draw facility you must mark the appropriate box on the PowerBall® Entry Coupon to determine the number of PowerBall® Draws for which your Selection (s) are to be entered.

The period covered by the selected Multi- Draw shall commence on the first Tuesday or Friday subsequent to the date on which you made your selection. This period shall end when the number of Draws selected and indicated on a Ticket is conducted.

The cost of a Multi-Draw ticket will be the total cost of the Game Boards selected multiplied by the number of Draws the Player has chosen to enter.

QUICKPICK® Option

You may also purchase a Ticket that contains numbers randomly generated by the Terminal. This is called a QUICKPICK® Ticket. You may request such a Ticket from the Retailer. QUICKPICK® Tickets are available for R7, R14, R35 or R70 to provide you with 2, 4, 10 or 20 board/game selections respectively.

QUICKPICK® Tickets are also available for other denominations and Multiple Draws.

Cancellation of a Ticket or Game Board

If you want to cancel one of the game boards of the coupon you have played, you only have to mark the CANCEL box of the relevant playing field.

If you want to cancel a Ticket purchased from a National Lottery Terminal, you must present that Ticket to the Retail Outlet, which issued the Ticket, not earlier than three minutes after the time it was purchased but within 2 hours of the time when it was purchased, or prior to the close of the Retail Outlet where the issuing terminal is situated or the close of sales for that day, whichever is the earlier.

On cancellation of a Ticket, you will be entitled to a refund from the Retailer equal to the retail price of the Entry.

A Multi-Draw Ticket shall only be capable of cancellation in accordance with the above and, in any event, prior to the first Draw in respect of which the Ticket has been issued.

How to play PowerBall® on a participating cash out register

You may request a QUICKPICK® PowerBall®  entry in 2, 4, 8 or 20 Board denominations from the cash register attendant of participating retail outlets.

The cash register will print a Ticket that will display a condensed version of the terms and conditions (normally on the back of a PowerBall® Ticket) as a footer on the ticket.

All participating retail outlets that sell tickets through cash registers also have a National Lottery terminal to ensure that the full suite of National Lottery Products and functionalities are still available at the retail outlet.

You may cancel a ticket bought at a cash register by presenting it at the National Lottery terminal installed at the participating retailer within 2 hours following the time of sale. If the ticket sales are suspended in accordance with the PowerBall® Game Rules within the 2 hour-period, the ticket may only be cancelled up to the suspension of the ticket sales.

Cash registers are not able to validate any prize.

How to play PowerBall® on Automated Teller Machines

You may purchase QUICKPICK PowerBall® tickets at ATM's of participating banks. These tickets will be offered in various denominations (e.g. 2, 4, 10 or 20 Board).

The participating ATM will display instructions that you must follow to purchase a PowerBall® entry. Such a purchase is made in compliance with terms and conditions approved for ATM's. These terms and conditions are contained in "How to Play" leaflets obtainable from the participating bank and available electronically on relevant websites. By purchasing a PowerBall® entry from ATM's, you agree to be bound by the applicable terms and conditions of that channel and do so with full acceptance thereof.

ATM's will print a receipt containing the QUICKPICK® selection numbers, the draw date, the price of the ticket, the date and time of purchase and the bank reference or trace number.

Please note that no cancellations will be allowed through these channels. As a final step of the process, you will be requested to confirm the transaction.

How to buy a mail subscription

You may participate in a Mail Subscription Service that will enable you to participate in the PowerBall® Game for 26, 32, 56 or 104 draws.

Players who wish to play via Mail Subscription must submit a completed Mail Subscription application form with the required payment or payment authority to the address shown on the form. The form is obtained by contacting the Players "Help Line" on 083 916 1777 (free call) between 06:00 and 23:00 every day, or it can be downloaded from www.nationallottery.co.za

You can also purchase a PowerBall® Mail Subscription for a loved one, acquaintance, a friend etc.  On the application form, you will fill in your details as well as the recipient's details.

How to play PowerBall® on other approved channels

Players may purchase a valid PowerBall® entry using a method of sale approved by the National Lottery including mobile, internet or telephonic devices following the playing instructions associated with such methods of sale. These purchases will be confirmed by a printable or electronic purchase receipt issued or displayed by the device.

Please note that in some instances, these methods of sales may not offer all the functionalities (e.g., cancellation of entries, multi-draw, own number selection) supported by a National Lottery Terminal. A public draw that determines the winning numbers is conducted twice per week every Tuesday and Friday. The Draws are normally broadcasted live on TV.

Prize allocations and no-winner situations

If in any PowerBall® Draw, there are no Selections qualifying for a prize in the Jackpot category the prize money for this category will be added to the Jackpot for the next Draw.  If there is no Jackpot Winning Selection, then the entire Jackpot prize pool will roll until there is a winner.

In the event of a Cancelled Draw or Draws for whatever reason, the Jackpot rolled over from a Draw preceding the Cancelled Draw, will be added to the Jackpot for the next Draw.

If in any Draw, there is no winner in any of the prize categories, the prize pool for the particular category will be rolled-down to the next category.

Prize money allocated to each of the prize categories will be divided equally by the number of Winning Selections in that category.

Distribution of Prize

Voordat u speel
U moet ouer as 18 wees om Lotery-kaartjies te mag koop of pryse te mag opeis.

Dit is u eie verantwoordelikheid om u inskrywings na te gaan voordat u die kleinhandelaar se perseel verlaat of om die PowerBall®-inskrywing op 'n Outomatiese Teller Masjien (OTM), selfoon of die internet te bevestig.

'n Kaartjie wat gesteel, onuitgereik, beskadig of onleesbaar is, of waarmee daar op enige wyse gepeuter is, of wat verander is, of wat foutief of onvolledig is, is nietig.

Die Nasionale Lotery is nie verantwoordelik vir verlore of gesteelde kaartjies nie.

U moet u naam, adres en telefoonnommer agter op u wenkaartjie invul voordat u 'n prys-eis indien.
Alle wenkaartjies moet eers deur die Nasionale Lotery geldig verklaar word.

Alle wenkaartjies is toonderdkokumente.

Alle pryse moet binne een jaar van die trekkingsdatum opgeëis word.

Wat is PowerBall® ?
PowerBall® is 'n kansspeletjie waar die Speler binne een speelbeurt (een Bord) vyf nommers en die PowerBall-nommer wat dieselfde as die nommers is, en die PowerBall-nommer wat vir die spel waaraan die Speler deelneem getrek is, moet selekteer.

Waar kan ek 'n PowerBall®--inskrywing koop?
PowerBall®-inskrywings kan op die volgende plekke gekoop word:

• by 'n gemagtigde Kleinhandelaar deur van 'n PowerBall® -inskrywingskoepon of van die QUICKPICK® -funksie gebruik te maak;
• by 'n deelnemende kasregister of outomatiese tellermasjien of ander soortgelyke toestel, deur gebruik te maak van die spelaanwysings wat met daardie toestel verband hou;
• by 'n gemagtigde Posinskrywingsagent; en

• deur die gebruik van enige ander verkoopmetode wat deur die Nasionale Lotery goedgekeur is, met inbegrip van selfone, die internet of telefoontoestelle, en deur die spelaanwysings wat met sodanige verkoopmetodes verband hou, te volg.

Hoeveel kos dit?
Elke PowerBall®-spelbord kos R3,50, BTW ingesluit.

Hoe wen 'n mens? Die PowerBall®-trekkingsmasjiene bevat onderskeidelik 45 en 20 balle. Met elke trekking word daar uit 'n trekkingsmasjien met vyf-en-veertig balle wat van 1 tot en met 45 genommer is, vyf balle getrek, en uit 'n aparte trekkingsmasjien met twintig balle wat van 1 tot en met 20 genommer is, een bal. Die eerste vyf nommers wat uit die 45 getrek word, is die Hoof Nommers. Die eerste nommer wat uit die 20 getrek word, is die PowerBall-nommer.
As die vyf nommers en die Powerball-nommer wat getrek word, ooreenkom, wen u die boerpot ("MATCH FIVE + ONE"). Die ander wenkategorieë is soos volg:

• Prys-afdeling Agt (die laagste kategorie) beteken dat die Speler met een van die vyf gekose Hoof Nommers en met die Powerball-nommer ooreenstem. Die gepaste pryskategorie staan bekend as "MATCH ONE OF FORTY-FIVE AND ONE OF TWENTY NUMBERS" of "MATCH ONE +ONE".
• Prys-afdeling Sewe beteken dat die Speler met twee van die vyf gekose Hoof Nommers en met die Powerball-nommer ooreenstem.  Die gepaste pryskategorie staan bekend as "MATCH TWO OF FORTY-FIVE AND ONE OF TWENTY NUMBERS" of "MATCH TWO +ONE".
• Prys-afdeling Ses beteken dat die Speler met drie van die vyf gekose Hoof Nommers ooreenstem.  Die gepaste pryskategorie staan bekend as "MATCH THREE OF FORTY-FIVE"" of "MATCH THREE".
• Prys-afdeling Vyf beteken dat die Speler met drie van die vyf gekose Hoof Nommers en met die Powerball-nommer ooreenstem. Die gepaste pryskategorie staan bekend as "MATCH THREE OF FORTY-FIVE AND ONE OF TWENTY NUMBERS" of "MATCH THREE +ONE".
• Prys-afdeling Vier beteken dat die Speler met vier van die vyf gekose Hoof Nommers ooreenstem.  Die gepaste pryskategorie staan bekend as "MATCH FOUR OF FORTY-FIVE" of "MATCH FOUR".
• Prys-afdeling Drie beteken dat die Speler met vier van die vyf gekose Hoof Nommers en met die Powerball-nommer ooreenstem.  Die gepaste pryskategorie staan bekend as "MATCH FOUR OF FORTY-FIVE AND ONE OF TWENTY NUMBERS" of "MATCH FOUR +ONE".

• Prys-afdeling Twee beteken dat die Speler met al vyf die gekose Hoof Nommers ooreenstem. Die gepaste pryskategorie staan bekend as "MATCH FIVE OF FORTY-FIVE" of "MATCH FIVE".

Wanneer kan ek speel?
PowerBall®-inskywings kan van 06:00 tot 23:00 op alle dae waarop daar nie trekkings is nie, gekoop word, behalwe op Sondae. Op Sondae mag kaartjies van 06:00 tot 18:00 gekoop word, maar die besigheidsure van die Kleinhandelaar en die bepalings en voorwaardes van Alternatiewe Verkoopskanale kan dié verkoop-ure beperk.

 Onthou egter: PowerBall®-kaartjieverkope sluit op Dinsdae en Vrydae om 21:00 tensy die bepalings en voorwaardes van enige goedgekeurde verkoopsmetode 'n vroeër tyd bepaal. Daarna sal die verkope eers weer die volgende oggend begin.

Hoe om op 'n Nasionale Lotery-terminaal PowerBall® te speel

Inskrywingskoepon
'n Speler mag op enige enkele PowerBall®-inskrywingskoepon minstens een Spelbord speel.
U moet op elke een of meer Spelborde met die hand met 'n swart of blou pen of potlood vyf (5) nommers uit nommers 1 tot en met 45 merk, en een (1) uit nommers 1 tot en met 20. Oorhandig die volltooide PowerBall®-inskrywingskoepon met die gepaste bedrag geld aan die Kleinhandelaar, wat dan die voltooide PowerBall®-inskrywingskoepon via die Terminaal sal prosesseer.  Daar sal 'n kaartjie aan u uitgereik word waarop elke seleksie wat op die koepon gemerk is, aangeteken is. As die Terminaal die PowerBall®-inskrywingskoepon verwerp, is die inskrywing nie geldig nie.

Veelvuldige trekkings
U kan ook u seleksie/s vir agtereenvolgende (van 2 tot 10) Trekkings inskryf. Wanneer u die Veelvuldige Trekkingsfasiliteit kies moet u die gepaste blokkie op die PowerBall®-inskrywingskoepon merk om te sê vir hoeveel PowerBall®-trekkings u seleksie(s) in aanmerking moet kom.

Die tyd wat deur die gekose Veelvuldige Trekking gedek word, begin op die eerste Dinsdag of Vrydag ná die datum waarop u u seleksie gedoen het. Dié tydperk eindig wanneer die aantal Trekkings wat geselekteer en op die Kaartjie aangetoon word, gedoen is.

Die koste van 'n Veelvuldige Trekkings-kaartjie bestaan uit die totale koste van die Spelborde wat gekies is, vermenigvuldig met die aantal Trekkings wat die Speler gekies het en voor ingeskryf het.

Die "QUICKPICK"-seleksie
U kan ook 'n Kaartjie koop waarop daar nommers voorkom wat ewekansig deur die Terminaal gegenereer is. Dit word 'n QUICKPICK®-kaartjie genoem. U mag vir die Kleinhandelaar vra om so 'n Kaartjie aan u uit te reik. QUICKPICK®-kaartjies is verkrygbaar teen R7, R14, R35 of R70, wat u onderskeidelik 2, 4, 10 of 20 bordseleksies/spelseleksies sal gee.
'n Mens kan ook vir ander bedrae en vir Veelvuldige Trekkings QUICKPICK®-kaartjies kry.

Om 'n Kaartjie of Spelbord te kanselleer
As u een van die spelborde op die koepon wat u gespeel het wil kanselleer, moet u die KANSELLEER-blokkie van die betrokke speelveld merk.

As u 'n Kaartjie wat by 'n Nasionale Lotery-terminaal gekoop is wil kanselleer moet u daardie Kaartjie nie minder as drie minute en nie meer as 2 ure van die tyd waarop die Kaartjie gekoop is by die Kleinhandelkooppunt wat die Kaartjie uitgereik het, toon, of voor die sluitingstyd van die Kleinhandelkooppunt waar die betrokke terminaal geleë is wat die Kaartjie uitgereik het, of die tyd waarop verkope op die betrokke dag sluit, watter een ook al die vroegste is.

As u 'n Kaartjie kanselleer, is u geregtig om u geld van die Kleinhandelaar terug te kry - dieselfde bedrag as die kleinhandelsbedrag van die inskrywing.

'n Veelvuldige Trekkings-kaartjie kan slegs in ooreenstemming met bostaande gekanselleer word, en in elk geval voordat die eerste Trekking ten opsigte waarvan die Kaartjie uitgereik is, plaasgevind het.

Hoe om op 'n deelnemende kasregister PowerBall® te speel
U mag die kasregister-assistent van die deelnemende kleinhandelpunt vir 'n QUICKPICK® PowerBall®-inskrywing in 'n 2, 4, 8 of 20 Borddenominasie vra.

Die kasregister sal dan 'n Kaartjie druk waarop daar 'n verkorte weergawe van die bepalings en voorwaardes (wat normaalweg agterop 'n PowerBall®-kaartjie staan) onderaan die kaartjie voorkom.

Alle deelnemende kleinhandelskooppunte wat via kasregisters kaartjies verkoop het ook 'n Nasionale Lotery-terminaal om seker te maak dat al die Nasionale Lotery-produkte en funksies nog steeds by die kleinhandelpunt beskikbaar is.

U mag 'n kaartjie wat by 'n kasregister gekoop is kanselleer deur dit binne 2 uur vandat dit gekoop is by die Nasionale Lotery-terminaal wat by die deelnemende kleinhandelaar geïstalleer is, te toon.  As kaartjieverkope in ooreenstemming met die PowerBall®-spelreëls binne die 2-uurperiode gestaak word, kan die kaartjie net tot die stakingstyd toe gekanselleer word.

Kasregisters kan geen prys geldig verklaar nie.

Hoe om op 'n Outomatiese Tellermasjien (OTM) PowerBall® te speel
'n Mens kan by die OTM'e van deelnemende banke QUICKPICK PowerBall®-kaartjies koop. Dié kaartjies word in verskillende denominasies (bv. 2, 4, 10 of 20 Bord) aangebied.

Die deelnemende OTM sal die aanwysings wat u moet volg om 'n PowerBall®-kaartjie te koop op die skerm vertoon.  So 'n aankoop is onderworpe aan die bepalings en voorwaardes wat vir OTM'e goedgekeur is. Dié bepalings en voorwaardes is vervat in die "Hoe om te Speel"-blaadjies wat by die deelnemende bank verkry kan word en ook elektronies op die betrokke webwerwe beskikbaar is. Deur 'n PowerBall®-inskrywing by 'n OTM te koop, stem u in  dat die bepalings en voorwaardes wat op daardie kanaal van toepassing is, vir u bindend is en dat u hulle ten volle aanvaar.

OTM'e sal vir u 'n kwitansie uitdruk waarop die QUICKPICK-nommerseleksie, die trekkingsdatum, die prys van die kaartjie, die datum en tyd van aankoop  en die bankverwysing of spoornommer voorkom.

Let asseblief daarop dat dié kanale geen voorsiening vir kansellerings maak nie. As die finale stap van die proses sal u gevra word om die transaksie te bevestig.  

Hoe om 'n posinskrywing te koop
'n Mens mag deur aan 'n Posinskrywingsdiens deel te neem vir 26, 32, 56 of 104  PowerBall®-trekkings in aanmerking kom.

Spelers wat by wyse van 'n Posinskrywing wil deelneem moet 'n voltooide Posinskrywingsaansoekvorm met die nodige betaling of betalingsmagtiging by die adres wat op die vorm verskyn, indien. U kan die vorm kry deur van 06:00 tot 23:00 elke dag die Spelerhulplyn by 083 916 1777 (gratis oproep) te kontak, of die vorm by www.nationallottery.co.za  te gaan aflaai.

'n Mens kan ook vir 'n geliefde, 'n kennis, 'n vriend, ensovoorts 'n PowerBall®-posinskrywing koop.  U vul dan u eie besonderhede én dié van die ontvanger op die aansoekvorm in.

Hoe om op ander goedgekeurde kanale PowerBall® te speel
Spelers mag 'n geldige PowerBall®-inskrywing koop deur gebruik te maak van 'n verkoopmetode wat deur die Nasionale Lotery goedgekeur is, met inbegrip van selfone, die internet of telefoontoestelle, en deur die spelaanwysings wat met sodanige verkoopmetodes verband hou, te volg. Sulke aankope sal bevestig word deur 'n elektroniese kwitansie wat uitgedruk kan word of wat op die betrokke toestel vertoon word.

Let asseblief daarop dat in sommige gevalle dié verkoopsmetodes nie al die funksies bied as wat by 'n Nasionale Lotery-terminaal beskikbaar is nie (bv. kansellering van inskrywings, veelvuldige trekkings, eie nommerseleksie). Deur 'n PowerBall®-inskrywing volgens enige van dié metodes te koop, stem u in dat die bepalings en voorwaardes wat op daardie verkoopsmetode van toepassing is, vir u bindend is en dat u hulle ten volle aanvaar.

Dié bepalings en voorwaardes is vervat in die "Hoe om te Speel"-blaadjies wat ook elektronies op die betrokke webwerwe beskikbaar is.

Mag ek kyk hoe die trekkings gedoen word?
Daar word twee keer per week elke Dinsdag en Vrydag 'n openbare trekking gedoen wat die wennommers bepaal.  Die Trekkings is gewoonlik lewendig op TV te sien.

Prystoekennings en situasies waarin daar geen wenners is nie
As daar met 'n PowerBall®-trekking geen Seleksies is wat vir 'n prys in die Boerpot-kategorie  kwalifiseer nie, word die prysgeld vir dié kategorie vir die volgende Trekking by die Boerpot getel.  Waar daar geen Seleksie is wat die Boerpot wen nie, word die hele Boerpot eenvoudig oorgedra totdat daar wel 'n wenner is.

In geval van 'n Trekking of Trekkings wat gekanselleer is, om watter rede ook al,  en waar die Trekking vóór die kansellasie gedoen is, word die Boerpot by die Boerpot vir die volgende Trekking gevoeg.

Indien daar in enige Trekking in enige van die pryskategorieë nie 'n wenner is nie, word die pryspoel vir daardie betrokke kategorie na die volgende kategorie oorgedra.

Die prysgeld wat aan elk van die pryskategorieë toegeken is, word gelykop onder die aantal wenners in daardie kategorie verdeel.

Verdeling van die Prys

SPORTSTAKE GAME

The SportStake game involves the correct prediction of the outcomes of several football matches. In particular, Players will have to predict the outcomes (1, X, 2) of 12 predetermined matches drawn from South African, English and other identified professional soccer fixtures.Definitions of fixture result predictions (1,X,2)

1. (1) A Home Win: When the Team mentioned first on the fixture list wins a specified fixture.
2. (X) A Draw: A result when two teams finish with the same score in the specified fixture.

3. (2) An Away Win: When the Team mentioned last on the fixture list wins a specified fixture.

How to Play the SportStake game

Valid Wager

1. A listing of 12 fixtures will be published for each fixture list. Teams included in each of the fixtures are listed in the order of Home Team versus Visiting Team. As such, the team mentioned first will always be the Home Team. Provided that where a fixture is played at a neutral venue for whatever reason, the Home Team will be the team mentioned first on the published fixture list.
2. For each fixture, a player must select a Home Win, a Draw; or an Away Win.
3. A Player can select a minimum of one and a maximum of three boards per coupon.

4. A valid wager must consist of a minimum of twelve selections (i.e., one selection per fixture).

Multiple Wager

1. A valid multiple wager must consist of more than one outcome prediction for one or more of the specified fixtures.
2. The minimum price for a wager is R1.00 per board including VAT.
3. Each additional multiple wager outcome selection will cost an additional R1.00 per combination.

4. The maximum wager per coupon is R1 000.00. (An automated notification will be activated after the Player wager reaches a R250.00 threshold. This notification will prompt the Retailer to ask the Player whether the Player wishes to proceed with the wager).

General

1. Each entry selection will only be valid for the specified fixture list
2. There shall be no QuickPick option in the Sport-Stake Game.
3. There shall be no Multidraw option in the Sport-Stake Game.
4. The SportStake fixture results are finalised after the completion of all the specified fixtures for the relevant fixture list. These results will be obtained from an independent source by Lidonga Technology and Telecoms and verified by an Independent Auditor.

5. The verified fixture results are captured in the Lidonga Technology and Telecoms Central Computer System, which will determine the winning wager for that fixture list.
